Aument, Fee Invite Area Veterans to Recognition Ceremony
LANCASTER – Reps. Ryan Aument (R-West Hempfield) and Mindy Fee (R-Manheim) invite veterans and their family members who reside in the 37th or 41st Legislative District to participate in their “Salute to Your Service” veterans’ recognition ceremony being held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Retirement Community, located at 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim.

The keynote speaker for the ceremony will be Retired U.S. Army Maj. Timothy Ryan, who was part of the “Black Hawk Down” rescue force.

“America is founded on the principles of freedom, justice and liberty for all. Our nation’s soldiers serve every day to protect our country and its ideals,” said Aument. “I am happy to have this opportunity to personally thank veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.”

Following the recognition ceremony, veterans and their guests are invited to join us for light refreshments, sponsored by Pleasant View Retirement Community.

“Our veterans have shown selfless service and dedication to protect and defend America’s freedom and independence,” Fee said. “Taking the opportunity to show our gratitude to them on Veteran’s Day weekend is a special privilege for me and for our community.”

Seating for the event is limited, so veterans interested in attending are asked to RSVP in advance by contacting Aument’s office at 295-5050, or Fee’s office at 664-4979.
